should i get the ARP or dana 44 knuckle studs? starting a huge project including my ultimate crawler with twin sticks, hydro Assist with 39.5 iroks... i have gone through everything on the truck and this seams to be the next week link in my truck... any opinions..

ARP are the best you'll find. Remember, the life of the studs also are contingent on them being correctly torqued.

ya i do it right i use red lock tight and torque them all down... but the dana studs are so much bigger? i figured they would hold up better...

ya know if you want ultimate strength I'd find some Dana ARP studs. That'd hold up really nice. Also put a 5th stud on (go to the pirate board they have a writeup somewhere about it) Bobby long had the 5th stud on his knuckles and he said he's never seen someone break them with a 5th stud.

ya i planned on the fifth stud... it won't mess the hysteer arm up if i weld it i have seen people weld cast ones but mine are billet i have a tig welder and can weld it but will it effect the intergrity of the arm?

my buddy has marlin hysteer knuckle tops he is selling... who sells the right knuckle for a toy with dana studs? on pirate some guy had OTT arms with dana studs... anyone got a website or some info on them? sorry they are billet not aluminum

nobody sells nuckles with dana studs. you have to drill and tap them yourself. that is why people go with the ARP ones, a lot less work and pretty much indistructable. How many people have you seen that have broken ARP studs? I heard that only a couple have broken them but that is just a rumor.

i haven't heard of people making those eithernone of those either. eveyrone i have seen has drilled/tapered there own.

alright well ARP studs seam like the way to go and i don't know anyone that has broken them... i have seen way to many broken stock studs...
