I have a 85 rnr that has a pretty beat body and found a smokin deal on a clean one but its an 87 IFS and want to get it but was wondering if they both bolt right up or is there any differences?

is the 87 ifs a runner as well? if they are, then they should bolt up with no issues at all...

however, watch out for legality issues

wiring for a automatic  will be different then 4 a 5 speed .  if both are 5 speeds wiring the  shoud work
