to body swap, or not to body swap?

so ill start off with what i have currently:
85 4runner 3" pro comp lift that was on it when i got it(will be removed soon enough).
my dad has an 88 samurai and just got an 84 toyota xtra cab pick for the motor/tranny/tcase/axles to swap into the sammy. the bed and frame on the xtra cab are shot but the cab itself is fine and it will go to the crusher if nothing happens to it.

so my question is what do you guys think about putting the xtra cab on the 4runner frame and a tube bed on the back. ive seen a couple threads here and there mentioning the swap and it only looks like i will have to move the back two body mounts to make it work.

all comments/advice/suggestions/ect are welcome.
