master cylinder question for all you toyota pervs.

i have a 90 toyota cressida and today when i looked at the master cylinder it had the 1" stamping on it. just wanted to know if this will work or not.
also the car has rear disk breaks an i was wondering if any body has tryed these befor.
83 toyota shortbed, 90 rear axle, 5.29's f/r, spools f/r, 22/20 hybrid w/propane, 37 mtrs. dual transfer cases. http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=22712.0

It's quite possible.  Glen is using a celica mc and I'm using one from an 87 supra, both 1".  Look at the bolt pattern and fitting location to be sure.  I had to put a slight bend in one of my lines, but I was able to do it without creasing it.

allright took a closer look at today and it looks like the bolt pattern is the same. but now it looks like the brake booster is much bigger than my 83 so would the bigger booster do me any good think i am just going to go for it. just wanted to know if it will actually work better or not, because it might be awhile before i get to drive it.

Also took some pics of the rear disk setup and i think that i can make it work on my set up. it has the internal drum brake e-brake system so that is diffently not going to be used.

what do you guys think.

Bigger booster will give your brakes more "grab" - watch the outer diameter when installing on a 1st gen, there isn't a lot of room.

thanks that was the anwser i was looking for dosent matter i probley just cut out the inner fender wall.
