brake master cylinder 91 toyota
« on: Oct 30, 2005, 05:49:25 PM »
i have a 14 bolt rear and a d60 front.  i did a rear disc brake conversion and im reading that my stock MC wont work for this.

so i see on marlins site the fj80 MC but is that a stock MC can i just go buy one at a stealership or a parts store, or there something diffrent about that MC that makes in compatible with rear disc brakes ?

yea  you probably would be better with a chevy,  but the fj80 mc  that marlin sells is a standard issue non abs  mc,  but trust me i checked with local parts places and marlins price is fair,  parts houses are going to add that dang core charge

thanks i considerd the chevy MC and i actually have a cnc cut adapter plate already but i thought if i could run a LC MC then it would be a bit cooler to have all toyota, but if the chevy is going to stop me better then thats what ill probably do.  plus its cheaper.

I'm kinda curious to know if anything from toyota has a bigger bore and would work with our setups.
