I live in Ocala. How long ago did you live in Circus county? Not much good wheelin left around here, all of the good mud bogs are shut down and you risk jail time if you hit any mud in the Ocala National Forest. One of the few legal mud bogs is gay it's pretty much a big wet sand box check it outwww.mudup.com

sadly typical. I don't know if any of the area of the powerlines S. of Seaworld is open anymore but I would guess not considering the :bling: condo's that would have to listen to the trucks and worse yet, the 2-stroke ATV's running around, they could have probably dealt with the V8 trucks.
There's the state forest up there we had gone to with the Jeep Club last year. They at least had some interesting washout  but who knows how much more they'll shut down.
Is the RR grade in Ocala shut down?

It runs from our area, in the southern most, off 19 just N of the visitor center.
There's not much to it really. It just happens to be wet during even the drier times but it's not a big challenge or a mud bog. Just a nice drive.
If you don't mind spiders.

Where do you go play? Have been to Horse Hole or Ocean Pond? I don't care for either but that's about all we've got.

We never go as far north as you are for the most part. The most we do is go on runs with the Jeep club we are part of. Mostly in Ocala, the SF in Citrus and Richloam. That was a fun wet area.
They'll probably be starting up again with local trail rides as it gets cooler out. We'll share with you if you are interested. There are no Toyota clubs in this area. Yet.

I left Citrus county in the early to mid 80's.  It has been a while.  I used to live on the witholochy river or however you spell it.  Great area back then for muddin.

I was a little boy back then and you wouldn't recognize most of central Florida now. Development has has ruined our way of life down here and the Yankees try to turn Florida into the Northeast every day. I'm only 28 and most of the spots I wheeled 8 to 10 years ago are now Sub-divisions. I hate this place.
