i dont know that date just 4 weekends from now is what he said on myspace and he didnt pick up his phone when I called him to clarify but yeah definitly 4dice

the weekend after the 7th. both Kent and I have separate wedding we have to attend on the 7th so that weekend is out. the next one should be good.

Guys,

I am new to this forum and new to the Toyota world after a hiatus of several years. Getting into a 4Runner this weekend and would love to join you on your Fordyce trip. I've been there many times in the past and would like to oin a group of Toys for my first time through with my Runner. Don't worry about me keeping up....I'm setup and have over 15 years experience wheeling. What side you going in from?

we'll be going in the eagle lakes way at the bottom and either come out the cisco grove or up at the top. we have never been up to the top because of breakage and that sort of stuff.

Cool, I can definitely meet you guys there. I was thinking about going in on Friday evening and camping at the first campground across the first river crossing. Maybe I will do that and then double back to meet you guys. I have been all the way through several times and also came out of Cisco a few times, depending on how bad the flow is.

I am trading away my buggy project this weekend for this 4Runner. We're gonna look like a bunch of Skittles out there

Went out last night for some night wheelin, had a good time and finally found a weak link in my front end. Broke a hub spring so the hub wouldn't unlock. Since I had no 10mm I drove with the square shaft singing at 65mph all the way home.

nice, i bet that sounded and felt real good. i bent a hub spring at fordyce a couple trips ago. i dont know how that happens.

Got started on my firewall last night, should have it done today. It was a PITA to cut throught the rocker, like 7 cut off wheels to get the drivers side all cut out to specs. I got the sheet metal back in, just need to seam seal it.

yep, i used about 8 cut-off wheels doing both sides of mine. i hope your tires don't hit. but it looks like you cut more off then i did. i still hit my 37's bit it just slides and doesn't catch anything.

Yea I hope they won't rub cuz I'm thinking of putting some bigger tires on it. Here is a pic of the drivers side done, not really happy with the fender chop but it works.

ahh I finally found your build. I don't know why I couldn't find it before.

Anyhow hows it going. It was cool meeting you at the roundup. I'm glad to see you got those fenders and firewall fixed. I wish I was going to go to fordyce with you guys but maybe next year.
