Sick jerry! I liek how its low and still fits 40's. How much did you pay out the door if ya dont mind me asking? Maybe i will skip 37s and go to 40's

Thanks. $1300 out the door. I would make the skip if you have the option.

Nice man.  Personally I like the 42's a little better but I don't imagine that you'd be able to fit those on your runner.  I think the 42's have quite a bit more tread depth but the 40's aren't bad I guess.  Do you rub your springs at all at lock?  Your tires look like they sit in pretty close so I didn't know if you had clearance issues with your springs.

Thanks. Yea I like the 42's better also but I hardly have clearance for these. I can get the springs to rub if I get the front in a bind wheelin but it's not enough to hurt anything it doesn't at all on the pavement. The wheels are 2.5 b/s I think the pic makes it look like they are farther in than they are.

well my 37x14.50 toyos stick half way out on my 4Runner and I'm running 15x12 wheels with 3.5 backspace.  I wish thouse IROK's came in a wider width for the 39's

I'm only running 15x8 wheels on mine so that prob narrows up the tire a bit. The toyos are a wide tire my friend is running them and they stick half out on his runner too. so when we making a snow run?

near the begining of the year.  Since I'm getting married this month its kinda taken up right now.  But I want to plan a trip sometime within the next 2 months.  I know a few guys here that are planning  trip to Mt St. Helens in Feb. I believe. I'll PM you more details when I get them.  It should be a fun trip from what they've told me about past runs there.

Don't bob it tub it back and stretch that wheel base

gotrocks

Bob it.  The only thing thats holding me back on bobbing mine is lossing all my cargo room.  I always seem to have at least 1 person in the back seat and I don't know what I'd do with all my crap if I bobbed mine

gotrocks

I don't know if I asked you this already but who linked your Tacoma?

olivedrab85

Me and a buddy. It was a three link w/panhard superflex joints on the links, flexed pretty good. I didn't use a calc so the angle of the links was to tall and geometry prob wasn't perfect but drove nice on the street.

if you drive this on the street those tires are going to wear out fast, did you have to tub the firewall or you just plan on linking it?

I tubbed the firewall past the body mount already. I plan on linking the rear and leaving the front leafs. I'm getting a daily driver next week and I just bought a new trailer so I won't need to drive this much at all.

The Marlin stickers are on both sides of my crossmember. I got this all pro sticker from infernal so I decided to fix one of my dents with it, covers nicely!

Do you plan to tun the rear fender wells.  Their is a good thread from "TheBandit" on here on how to do it.

i agree. id stretch that wheel base 4-5" or so then it will basically be bobbed and climb better as well. nice rig once again. it looked cool with the boggers at rubicon.

So I finally got started on my fender hacking for these tires. Decided to try to use the foam trick again, worked pretty good. Here are some pics of the foam fabbing.

I just used some marine grade foam, sanded it down with an orbital, coated it all with seam sealer, then painted it with chip guard.

Thanks. No that :pokinit: is crazy it holds good. I had it in there with my old hack for a while with no problems. The seam sealer helps a lot also. I haven't really got to go play in the snow much, just a few times on the local trails but it does awesome. Waiting for the deep snow to go get crazy.
