it wasnt Case was it ? the Webilt guy that picked up your axles for me? I wouldnt think so acting like that. just looked familiar cuz he runs his spare up top like that and he just recently re-bodied his truck with a blue 81.

no, it wasn't the Webilt club.  it was some other club, i forget the name.

yea, I want krawlers but i think the iroks would be more practical for my application.

from experience the krawlers rock in the rocks but suck in the snow and mud.  if you are planning having 2 sets of tires get though for sure but otherwise I don't think they're the best all around tire

There's alot of clay mud kinda crap in Oregon trails thats why i decided to go with the iroks instead, oh yea and there like $800 cheaper!

So i figured out one of my problems. When I tubbed my firewall I also sealed up the drain for my sunroof so all the water that was supposed to go out the drain filled up my floor boards. I re routed my drains and pulled out my carpet and cleaned/ dried it so were all good now. I'm pri sure this was the reason it died the other night on the way home.  :shake:

I had a set of 37" iroks on but i hated the way they looked, like balloons. So i took them off for the boggers. Sorry no piCs of it with the iroks they were only on for a couple days.

he had 40's or 42's on his taco.
I had 42" iroks on my taco and I liked them, the tread width is just to narrow on the 37's

Is was narrow? I read the 37" bias come in 37x14.00 Did they still look narrow like a mtr? I just want to see how wide they look. Hmm....... :headscratch:

The tire itself looks wide the tread looks narrow. Making a balloon effect I even tried putting them on 8" rims.

you gunna have this thing ready for a run sunday

Hyena

37x14.50 on a 10 inc rim.  they are just too bubbly.  but they are the bias, they are cheaper then the 13.50 radial.  thats why my buddy bought them.

Yota4life

thanks brad. They are really round, i see what everyone says now. I dont think im going to get those. I bet 39.5"s will have the same bubble affect

The 42's look pri good on a 9" rim not sure about the 39.5's. I hope they look like the 42's or I don't want them either! Mall rated iroks  :bling:

Off the Interco site

                TREAD WIDTH
37x14            10.7
39.5x13.5       11.8
42x15            11.4

For some reason the 37 has a way narrow tread. From the specs the 39.5 should be the least bubble of all.

Got some 40's on the runner yesterday. Way better than the boggers on the street. Got to test them out last night and do well in the trails. Def need to do some more trimming on the fenders now cause i got a new rub.  Just got a new welded up carier in my front diff, the lock right broke pins, and I broke a hub gear. I set up the gears and they've been holding up so far.  :crossed: The runner has been getting wheeled hard lately in the snow/ Oregon trails so I need to get on building a new front bumper next. I'll get some better pics of it after I clean it up.

sick sick.  now i gotta step up to 42's i guess.  ya, pat's shock mount broke and it deiced to hang out outside the fender for awhile.  looked a little wierd looking back and seeing that thing stick out.  how is the steering with the 40's and the welded carrier?  bring your runner down here and we can bend you up a sweep bumper.

Yota4life

Sick jerry! I liek how its low and still fits 40's. How much did you pay out the door if ya dont mind me asking? Maybe i will skip 37s and go to 40's

Nice man.  Personally I like the 42's a little better but I don't imagine that you'd be able to fit those on your runner.  I think the 42's have quite a bit more tread depth but the 40's aren't bad I guess.  Do you rub your springs at all at lock?  Your tires look like they sit in pretty close so I didn't know if you had clearance issues with your springs.

It actually steers easier with these than the boggers I was suprised. To bad you don't live a little closer i'd have to take you up on that.
