here's a side profile
wow, that looks so awesome from the side. you should get a measurement from the ground to the top. that thing looks low for a 4 runner on 40s. nice job. id  just like to get an idea to compare the height against lilbuddys. his sits pretty low compared to his friends on 37s.

edit: oh ya by the way, whats your wheel bs? 3.5?

sick Jerry.  do they rub the front firewall?  man, that dent on the driver door is very noticeable!  :0

alwayzbroken

Some of that plastic door edge molding may look decent on those cut fenders if you painted it orange.
If you still have control you aren't going fast enough

That rig has gone through quite a transformation.  It looks great.  Where did you get the from from for tubbing the rear fender wells.

olivedrab85

Thanks for the props guys. And Pat to bad you don't live a little closer I've been going out at least a couple times a week lately! The runner seems to be holding up good for now.

Thanks. Yea you should have seen this thing when I bought it for a g, huge transformation since then. I got the foam from napa it's some marine grade foam that I guess won't hold water, with the seam sealer on it should be weather tight.

Sense my flatbelly i have to seal up the new tranny tunnel and i have some good gaps to fill, i want it to be water tight. Im going to stop by napa and get that foam it will be perfect.

So since i've been working for GM for the last 4 years I figured it's time to get hooked up with a new tow vehicle. It's a 2006 crew that I got 6000 back on GM employee pricing. Fully loaded except leather. I just ordered my lift, tires, wheels, and gears for it they will be here on the 2nd of Jan. Merry X-mas to myself!

Hey give us more specs on the tow rig.  I'm assuming you got the 6.0?  Also how big are you going on the lift.  I know the pice isnt' cheap but I thought you'd get a diesel.

It's an 06 crew 5.3 pwr everything, heated signal mirrors, drivers info center, sunroof, xm, , onstar, Z71. It's getting a 6 in with 35 toyos on 18's. They're putting in 4.56's at my work right now to replace the 3.42's. I really like the short crew and you can't get it in a diesel and I would have had to get a more stripped down version. I don't tow all that much so for what I do it will be fine.
