Well it has been awhile since I posted any updates so...

I grooved up my TSL's and they work killer, I love them even more now.

I FINALLY painted the full doors, the  truck is all one color now.

I also added some 4.70 gears to the rear case and hydro assist steering. Man what a difference. I dont know what took me so long to do these 2 mods. I have had the dual cases for about ten years now, and wanted the gears for about 5 years. I dont know why I never did it sooner but hey, I got 'um now.

How do you like like tsl's and what psi for the hiway?

Here is the only body damage I got from the run through.

I made it, Thanks. It is 5/8 HREW 095 wall tube bent and welded for the frame. The top is a canvas tarp I got at the hardware store, then cut and fit to my need's.

This is probably my most favorite first gen pickup. Nice run through the box! Amazing you got out with just that small scrape :D

Thanks, I have had fun building it and wheelin it till this point. I had considerd(sp) selling it and building something different but I think I am gonna hang on to it for a while longer. I am done building it, with the exception of winch rope. I am totally satisified with the fact that I drive it to the trail, ran the box unassisted from a winch or strap (while being full bodied and only puting one minor dent/scratch) and drove it home.

that truck is a beautiful man everything is very well engineered and the way you and it wheel is amazing, that is quite the inspiration for me to get my 79 going again

Yea, they seem to wrap around rocks alot easier and climb ledges a little better as well. They have more biting edges now and more room to fold with out taking away the "big" tread blocks.

rockcrawlinredneck

Got me some new rubber (again). Waiting on my new wheels at the minute but here is a teaser shot or two. :drooling:
