Hey, you could always check out www.craigslist.com look for your area!  If anything you'll just get a good laugh!  And it's free!!  I'm always reading the vehicle and parts sections!  And when I get bored, and need a laugh I'll go to the personals!

Oh yeah, Craigslist always has some good ads for amateur porn stars!

DON'T DO IT!! It's probably not a scam but paying money for a dating service is totally not necessary in this day and age.
www.eharmoney.com   www.match.com

Eharmony isn't free!  The initial part is free, but if you wanna contact a person or vice-versa, it's time to lay down the cash!  Craigslist is good for a laugh, but steer clear of casual encounters.  That's traumatizing!

I'm supposed to go out with some friends for dinner after work tomorrow night, and hopefully the snack bar cutie will be there.  I know she's not interested, but she's definately fun to look at, and sweeeeeet!

If I was looking for a chick, I'd go sign up for a yoga class. Those chicks may be a little hairy, but just think of the fun   :twocents:

OK, I didn't word that right, either, I know they aren't free, what I meant was charging THAT much money for a dating service.
I haven't looked myself but when my cuz was on match she was only laying out like $20-25 for the service, even if its twice that, that is a far cry from a few grand or even a few hundred.
And if what you are looking for is an SO, I have known many people that have had success with those services.
In fact my sister recently started dating a guy she met on myspace, things are going great and that didn't cost her anything.

www.eharmoney.com   www.match.com  there are others, I personally know many people that have met their SO's on those sites and are very happy.
My cousin just married the guy she met on their, and another cousin has been married to the girl he met on their for 10-15 years.
It's easy to get to know people without having the immediate face to face, and then when you do choose to meet take precautions like they recommend.
Meeting in a public place for lunch or coffee or something till you know you click.

Yeah, thats a good idea, too, but I thought it might be a little weird for Marlin board.  I take a yoga class occassionally.  I have gotten a couple of dates out of that.

My friend and I used to check out the yahoo personals out of boredom.  There are some hotties on there for sure, but it's overrun with....ummmm....not exactly the most attractive or fit girls asking "are there any good guys left?".  Myspace is frickin huge now too, but I don't spend any time on there really.

I ended up staying at work an hour late tonight, so I'm my own date now.  Dang motorboats run my life!

Myspace is a dating aid to me.  I usually use it after I have met a girl.  It is like a big page of research on the individual.

glad you didint pay for that dating service :), but you thought about it :rofl2:. It's ok I have too.

Check this out its totally free and it works, I know 2 of my freinds have had great success, and I dont just mean sex.

plentyoffish.com

You can view by area code, location, features and when you check out their ad it will show common interest. I checkd it out too  :_oops:

beside that, do this when you see a girl that you are attracted to just say hi and be yourself, I swear it works. Not for me Im a dork but for others I know. Remember you will probably never see them again if they say no, and if they already have a bf that isnt rejection.

one more thing, if you see a girl and you catch her looking, go up to her

good luck you can do it  :beerchug:

But all in all it's about NOT BEING SCARED OF TALKING TO SOMEONE YOU ARE INTERESTED IN!
That is way easier for me to say them do too, or used to be. Now I don't have to care.
OK that is still not true if I have to talk to a guy that is particularly hot (like the rock band neighbors hot drummer that we socialize with casually occasionally). :shhh: don't tell Mark!
:disturbed:
But just remember, they, for the most part, don't think they are nearly as hot as you think they are, and if they do then they most likely have a major attitude that you wouldn't want to know anyway.
If they are cool as a person they probably just see themselves as a regular person, and they probably see you as just a cool a person.
It's just a matter of getting over the first one, the more you talk to and get comfortable with the easier it is.
How do you think those guys you can never figure out how they get those hot woman get the hot woman? Because they believe in themselves, don't know they can't have them, and they just talk to them!

nate :therethere:  Don't listen to them. u just need some hot lovin NOW!

No I don't  :shakehead:  My hands are all the lovin I need right now!  They don't complain, I never hafta ask/beg, and they don't mind if I cheat!  I'm not into the whole casual encounter scene, just seems too sketchy to me.  If a girl will do that with me, she's probably done it with half of redding too, and I don't need all the ensuing drama!

Anyway, this is about CT, not me   I'm a lost cause, but that man still has a chance!

No :slap: that wasn't my cousin, that was a friends sister.
Funny thing with my cousin is the guy she met, through matchmaker, is a guy she works with at a large company.
They knew of each other, didn't know each other socially. They didn't know the other was available or interested and in fact both thought the other was out of their league (again, just cause the othe rperson is good looking to you does not mean they acknowledge that themselves, and may see what you don't see in yourself in you) so if they hadn't 'ran into each other' on matchmaker they probably never would have hooked up in the first place.  :hammerhead:

That call was almost weirder than the thought of paying 3400 bucks to meet 10 women; now who sounds desperate?  Did I mention that she initially offered a 2 year payment plan on that 3400...I asked her if it was weird that she was trying to finance me a date.
