I think you should send me the money...I'll make as big improvement as it will. It's funny how these things proliferate when gas prices spike.

With a little plumbing work you could get this...and it's cheaper!

I'm gonna have to call  :bull crap: on that one. I used to have a Civic that I did a few mods on. It takes alot more than that to get 20hp out of the honda.  It isn't free power. Alot of power is still drawn from the engine indirectly to power this little gizmo. It is seriously a gimmick. I don't think u read thru this whole thread. :dunno:  No hard feelings but I just can't believe it

This is a SUCKER item!  Think about it, how is something like this going to to optimize your airflow?  The only thing I see it doing, is restricting your airflow sort of say!  The more stuff you have in the airflows pathway, is going to slow and/or restrict!  I've seen these items at parts stores and they look like they would fall apart!  Big pile of  :pokinit:!!

Sweet, I can't wait till mine gets here!  If it worked for DTB...!

Maybe I will have Mr WillyM. send me that Paxton he has and I'll build the 50 lb electric supercharger with that and a geared down REAL 12V e-motor!  It will be my crowning achievment...

Hey MW...How much you want for that thing??  :disturbed:  You really think it would take a 5hp motor to turn it??  :shocking:

oh yeah!!!! here it is...:

venturi effect and a vortex are 2 different things, i do doubt a 35 or even 20 HP gain, but i can see it improving some., i wouldnt use it personally though. all i'm saying is the concept makes sense as long as it doesnt take more power to power it then it gains.  or maybe i'm thinkin of throttle body spacer??? :headscratch:

make sure you turn it on high heat.....forget all the intercooler/cold air intake crap....make it hot.....but....honestly....NO I wouldnt put it in my truck...BUT YES, concept DOES work, there ARE guys out there who have studied there porting well, they will hand you a die grind....and let you do whatever you want.....as long as you dont cut into water jackets on your head, these guys WILL outflow your head with them filling that port with putty....and cutting it back out....NEVER TOUCHING the original port wall....so...smaller port.....but better flow.....when your know how the aerodynamics work....you can produce a port that instead of a freeflow of wind you have a precision stream of high speed air........but dont buy this crap.......mine eyes have seen the glory of.....FOD.....what is that....foreign object damage???
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
