That's what I said yesterday, unless we can test it going up a steep incline and see what it does we won't really know for sure, but we don't have many steep inclines round these parts.

The small turbo the harder it has to work to build boost, but the heat gained in the process causes the air to be less dense.

A larger compressor section should build boost faster and give more boost without building as much heat.

More without a load and even more with a load.

Yup, it has a damm big one too. The piping is 3 1/2".  If it wasn't so big I bet it would boost quicker.

ya U need a bigger turbo    2 much volume   for that small turbo.

As for me I would love 2 put bigger piping on the supra  but the price is crazzy for a interclooer kit.

I know more coin isn't what you're looking to spend but the turbo I'm eyeballing for my 600= hp setup is Edge's new Jammer BB. Supposedly works great for the stock setups, more boost, better power. For mine, should increase spool up and cool me down a bit. From what I've heard so far, it's a pretty slick unit.

Ok, back from another test drive with the wastegate blocked off and it can only build 30 psi. Does feel a little better, but not there yet.

I guess I am going to look for a bigger turbo so the boost comes up quicker and harder. Hope I can get at least 35 to maybe 40 psi.

I also think the Banks sticker on the back is going to get turned upside down. These people are no help and they got payed plenty.

I wonder if advancing the injection pump would do any good. I know it did wonders for the Mammoth. If I put it on the timing mark it won't rev up under load so it takes a long time to get up to speed if it even will.

:offtopic: :idiot:

Ok, I will run with it. The wheelbase is off by 1". The left side longer so that would mean it will wander to the short side (right).

Now to see if there is anything worn out or if it was made that way. I am leaning toward it being made that way judging by the rest of the their work.

I will have to start with the rear and make sure it is square and straight inline with the frame before I play with the front.

Hard to see, but I am sure you get the idea. There is a big square frame attached to the axle and an air bag in each corner. It is four link with a panhard bar.

Don't look like anything is worn that bad, but there seems to be some rust staining coming from the bushing areas.

that means the rubber part is worn  and its riding on the metal  :headscratch:   is the bushing replaceable ?  or is it like a peterbuilt ,have to replace the entire link

This stuff is all home made crap. I should be able to rebuild it if needed, I just don't want to need to.
