my truck just has the sequential # listed on the hump in the wheelwell
I dont know how to say it any more clear there are only TEN numbers and letters not 17, 11 if you count the space after RN42.
but thats just a guestament
you will not find the entire vin # on the frame in that location, it is not there.... all it says is the model, and its sequential #from that info, you are screwed, and cannot find the year of the vehicle unless there is someway to trace back the medel #the model # of 42 sounds odd, because my truck is a std cab, short bed, 1985 4x2 and is an rn50rs, his isnt too old for a 17 digit #, mine has one, and exactly what he has on the frame, but he is missing the first half, they only check the frame to match the body, they dont want body swapped vehicles on the road, and since this, they dont list the first half of the vin, now he cant fake it......
didnt i just tell him that
thats fine, im just telling this guy who is fighting you saying he doenst have the rest of it, that he doenst have the rest of it.....i know what my vin # is
