We've got a "have you ever" so I figured, why not start a "I've learned"  thread?

I've learned...

Not to put a rathet on a rounded piece of your truck (fender) it won't fall until you are looking through the wheel well. 
Not to mix mexican spam (spam bought in mexico) with beans and rum  :reg:
Not to say "watch this" because it never goes as planned, that one time
Not to say"I've never ___" because next time out, it'll happen to you

um...I've learned not to work on my truck with french manicures  :lipsrsealed: because when you have the hood removed and the engine bay covered with a large piece of plywood, said plywood likes to eat said nails! OUCH! and yet I still insist on getting the stupid things  :headshake: mostly because I bite my nails, which is no good  :nonono:

Either that, or when calling out lines, "  I wouldn't go that way, but since its your truck, GO FOR IT!!"


I've learned that dropping a 3 wheeler on a bedrail is not a good idea if you want to keep your bedrails straight.  I've also learned that no matter how many times you do something, and say that its the last time, you're just lying to yourself, it'll happen again :yupyup:
