I want to make my truck four seater... Any sugestions?!!
« on: Jan 18, 2006, 02:57:16 PM »
At this point in time, I was thinking of cutting the frame at the point where it rises, and welding in some tubing.  The main problem is the bed is to0 high to just put seats in.  Once I add a cage high enough to protect those in the rear, I've added about 8-12 inches about the cab.  javascript:void(0);
I Dunno...

That sounds like the mid 1980's "Custom Cab", which was basically a regular cab truck that was cut in half.  Some steel was welded into the frame, lengthening the overall truck...  and then a fiberglass segment of cab was attached, after cutting out the metal back of the regular cab...  see this link for a photo of my '85 custom cab that I'm working on... hopefully the link will work...
