The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.

If i where to drive my truck from Texas to California. Would i need mud flaps? even though it's lic and titled in TX :inthedark: I'm thinking that next year there will be a road trip and the rubicon it involved. I just want to make sure I'm legal. :jail:
We don't need them here in TX so i don't have them.
Thanks

If you drive in our lovely state you must conform.  However if i were driving here from TX, i would not worry about it.  If you get pulled over just explain to them that in TX they are not required and you are just visiting our lovely state of commifornia.

So yes, our driving regulations apply to drivers in the state of CA, but the cops is stupid to write a fix it ticket to an out of state driver who is not moving into the state.

Yea I had a buddy who moved out from florida and he had like 16 in of lift on 44's in his ford f-250 with no mud flaps and he got pulled over all the time.  Just kept saying he was from florida and he kept the plates and his florida license.  Never got a ticket.

I just gonna put some flaps on mine and say that they adequately prevent the rearward spray of debris. :dunno:

If i get a ticket i find the cop who agrees and will sign it off.
