Chat Sessions with Marlin: First Monday Night of Every Month!!

Hello Guys and Gals,

I have always wanted to get a Chat Session available to All Members, Once a Month, where you could hang out and chat with Marlin himself!!

So with no further delay, I am proud to announce that starting in December, the first Monday of every month, from 7 - 8pm PST, Marlin will be online to chat with who ever would like to join him!!

Some do not know, but we do have a real Chat Program installed here, and can be found by clicking on the "Chat" link above, or by going to http://board.marlincrawler.com/chat.php

So the first Official Monthly Chat Session with Marlin, will be Monday, December 5, 2005, from 7p - 8p PST. Don't miss it!


And to start things off, for testing purposes, I have also scheduled to have Marlin in the Chat Room this Monday night, Nov 28th, from 6 - 7p. Marlin will learn some basic IRC commands and practice his mad typing skills!

So I encourage anyone who would like to join Marlin in our Chat Room this upcoming Monday, from 6 - 7pm PST, for a "breaking in the chatting" session that will feature Marlin himself!

And if you can not make it this Monday, be sure to catch Marlin in the First Ever Monthly Chat Session in December, and The First Monday of Every Month, from 7-8pm PST.

it's 7p-8p PST which is 10-11p EST but I will be there! I would be able to copy and paste the whole thing into a text file if that is OK with Marlin and BigMike, or whoever else.

..and if you have a popup blocker turn it off and try to go in again. It may take a while to load on dial up but it should load....... sometime next year.

i downloaded the java onto my computer , it took 4 hours,  then the computer crashed,  had to delete the file to get the old puter to do anything   15gb  with 64mb  =

I only run a 20gb at home and it's 75% full, but do have quite a bit more ram. I don't think it is the ram though since I will have my photo editor, my bbs, mc's bbs,  my wmv player and chat going all at once with no problems, it's probably that lousey dial-up.

So just start a thread now for people with a question for Marlin that can't get into the chat room and he can answer them ahead of time 1st and as he's going into live chat someone can post the answers. Then someone can moniter that thread and ask Marlin any follow up questions.

Due to the time zone differences, Marlin will be in the Chat room from 6-7pm PST for tonight, but as of now, the upcoming Monthly Chat Session will still be held from 7-8pm PST every first Monday of each month.

So be in the chat room tonight at 6pm PST / 9pm EST or be square!!

It's always great getting a chance to talk to Marlin again.
Wish we lived closer. (or you lived closer...there is still a lot to be said for mud, Mike LOL!)

You missed all the fun after the chat when we were playing with all the options on the chat board.  Everyone was banning everyone. I ended up bannig BigMike and he couldn't get back in. He then had to come back in as someone else and I had to make the new username a mod so he could un-ban himself. Then all of a sudden everyone got banned and we couldn't get back in. 


We think Mike did it.

The biggest thing to remember is DON'T BAN BIGMIKE!!!
