Well my truck started out pretty rough looking but everything was straight. I eventaully repainted it silver and built bumpers and what not. Eventaully trashed the body and paint job so its now time to really get down. Hopefully this will give some of you young guys out there some inspiration since i'm 19 with not a ton of income. Working at www.DefeliceInnovations.com does help though. I will not be able to update everyday so bare with me.

Drive Line

4.3 Vortec
4l60e trans
with dual cases

Suspension
4 Link front and rear using Fox Shox 16" travel dual rate
Front panhard bar with sway bars front and rear because i will drive this on the road whenever i want

Other
The rear of the frame will be cut off right behind the cab and 2" DOM ran from the frame back that joins into 1.5" DOM upper cage which goes into and internal cage.
I'll be using toy axles and the these are the main priorities. Enough with the talking lets get to work

some pics of the drivetrain install and motor mounts. The frame has been cut off but i dont have the pictures yet. We are getting DSL in the shop so i should be able to update this more frequently.-Travis

Cut the rear of the frame off and started tubing. My headers came in from AA so those are on as well as the Front Range transfercase plate. I haven't done a write up before so i dont really know what all too say so any comments are appreciated.

aight, now when bending an internal cage, how the hell do you guys to make the tube snug the inside of the cab so good. ive only built exos and want to build an internal but not sure how. any info helps me and others

Having good measurements is key. Remember to subtract to the centerline of the tubing. For instance if your bending 1.5 " u have to subtract 3/4" off or it wont fit win trying to run it snugly. We take our measurements and draw it out on autocad first.

Here our some more pics. I've been slacking on working on it. Interior cage is closer to completion. sorry for the poor pic didnt realize it when i snapped it. In the other picture you can see where i popped a hole in the cab where anoth tube will join in from the interior cage to the rear section.-travis

Nice man, we are doing the same thing. I had to cut my frame due to rust a but am now going to tube frame the rear and link it.

Yota axles, they're stock at the moment but won't be staying that way i'm sure.

I really like what you're doing. Must be nice to have a shop for all of this too. I know a lot of us could do way more with ours if we had a nice, well equipped shop to work out of. Keep it up.

Front is going to be a 4link set up using using Toyota axle and Fox Air shox i'll get some more pics this week. I need to do more cage work then i'll start on the 4 link in the rear.
