I have a Handler 140 and I love it! I use .024 and run it on 4 with wire speed 8 and it welds tits.

It'll be along a lot better come 2 weeks from now as I have possibly set aside a weekend to work on it.

I'm cheap and go to Harbor Freight. haha I had a little spool of Lincoln .024 and that welded like care bear walking on a cloud.

i might try to make it the weekend after the 4th.  i still have a few thing to get buttoned up on my truck.  i was hoping to take it out to carnegie next week after work one day once i get the dumb brakes fixed

ya i saw that you guys were going there.  i just need to make sure i can get it all fixed before i commit to anything.  i am going to try a different style mc and see if i can get the brakes to work.  its all brand new stuff so i don't know what the problem is

i used the mc offered from rockstomper and it works fine for me

i have the adapter from sky and the big master.  i am gonna try the master that rockstomper uses with their kit.  the brakes bleed out in the back and i have good pedal throw but once the back bleaders are closed the pedal won't move and i cant get the front brakes to work.

Umm sounds like you have a problem. lol You have disc all around? If so do you have a prop. valve for the rear? (I'm too lazy to go back a couple pages) I'm sure you understand the concept of needing to turn the rears down when you go from drum to disc because of the pressure build up/lag time the drums need verse a disc setup.

the truck is 88 outside with the 3" backspaced wheels.  when i get new tires i will get 16.5 or 17 so i can get 4.5" backspacing on the rims.

Hmm Yea that would be the right way to do it. Thats wierd that it's giving you trouble.
