I had heard that the trails at Brownscamp have been renovated by the Forest service. That all trails over 15 degrees have been excavated and filled with river rock making it like a standard gravel road due to errosion.... Has anyone been up there in the last 2 weeks that can verify this or tell me how the trails are??

Thanks

Stewy

Hey Chim, if you are still watching this thread.... I was up there last weekend and went on a handful of trails from more difficult to the black diamond runs of Bone Crusher.  The only trail we were on where I think they did this was Firebreak 5.  there was a section of that trail where they put in what seemed to be 8 - 10 inch minus, maybe even bigger, yes it was on a medium incline.

I did not see this anywhere else on the trail ... Hogs Back was STILL CLOSED!!!  :hammerhead:  UURRGGHHHHH....  :hammer:  I have been up there 5 times now and every time they have had it closed.  Not sure what is up with that. :-\\

Happy Wheeling... where are you located?   :beerchug:
