Yeah bro, didn't have a single prob with either d-shaft. Rudys rig was crushing rocks man. It was funny watching him baby the 44 over the big stuff, then run his 60 into anything and everything he could. Guess he knows what it will hold upto huh.

BigMike

Dang, I missed so many badass rigs :smack: No doubt I will be there at least one extra day next year!

I closed my eyes for a min, and the next thing you know, I was fast asleep. Bruce and Bevin were chatting for who knows how long when I finally woke back up. I think I must have caught 3 or 4 flies while I was sleeping :yupyup:

It seem like 20 minutes that we let you sleep, you were quite out of it...... when we got to camp I tried to take a nap, but with all the noise, I couldn't. Finally after dinner around 9pm got to bed, I was up a bit over 40 hours! When we were at the shop, Marlin almost called it quits, but we got his rig ready just in the nick of time and I'm very glad that he had no problems on the trip up, it wouldn't have been the same without him there.

No real carnage to my rig, I only got hung up once, had to break out the winch and thought I drowned the engine during a water crossing, I should have stopped and put the deckplate in the air box before heading in. I did shortly afterwards, since I do have an internal snorkel system. My new tires were still on backorder, was surprised my worn out MTR's gripped as well as they did.

I really wish I was able to take more time off from work, there was so many places to explore. We had planned on going back out Loon side, so I didn't take many pictures, was gonna wait til sunday, but plans changed and we went out towards Lake Tahoe. A group of us stopped at Round Table Pizza for lunch, half went to Taco  Bell after we found out there was a 45 minute wait. I had to meet a friend in Placerville, so I left with a few that had their tow rigs at the Loon Lake staging area. After my side trip, I caught up with Marlin's convoy at a gas station near Hwy 99. After they split off in Fresno, I ended up going straight to my jobsite in Palmdale and setting camp there around 10:30 pm.

here's a few of the shots I did take;

In camp I was talking to a few about an inexpensive camp shower system, here's the link http://classicbroncos.com/shower.shtml
