i had a W56 behind mine until i put the auto in, never had an issue. I heard something about breaking inputs with duals w/ 4.7's in both cases, i think a few outputs too

I finally got my first run in on the 40's!!  4 other rigs and myself ran the Liberty trail in Independence.  Here's a couple of pics







I didn't get a chance to trim the front fenders so I just took them off rather than rub the snot out of them.  Truck ran great, no problems with the big tires!!  I also must have trimmed enough in the front and rear, I didn't get the tires to rub once.  That was also good news!

Do guys that run the 4.3 also run dual ultimate cases??  It would be nice to have the HP on the street but the low range off-road.  What manual tranny do they run??  Will a W56 live behind a 4.3 or would an R150/R151 be a better idea?

i dont see why you couldnt run dual ultimates behind a 4.3   and i would run a R151F over the W56A/B and even over the R150F too, being as it has the lowest first gear of them all and it will help you take off on the street with them big ass tires. my opinion

I run my 4.3 on the street with duals and the add power is nice over the stock toyotav6 and i get and extra 35miles to the tank i went from only getting 205miles to the tank to 240miles

Nobody's tires really look up on that last climb out.  Loose dirt on top of rock makes it slick.  I also need to air down more but without beadlocks, I was scared to pop a bead without some kind of spare or air source.

8-9 psi.  Needs to be at 3-4

It's thicker than shale but has the same slick properties when there is dirt on it.  That's the only section of the trail that the tires didn't hook up.

oh ok, from what i saw that jeep on 42s was hookin up best but then again its hard to say, never really showed him on the same section of tail you wer on.

I like the Iroks!!  The fronts are 50% worn and the rears are brand new.  I could tell the difference in traction between the front and rears for sure!!  I got them used for a pretty good deal and should last me this summer and next.

For sure!!!  Let me know the dates once you make your plans.  I'd really like to see your buggy run Patriot down in Penrose.  You'd have some fun for sure with the buggy!

Good eye.  I mounted them backwards just to get it out of the garage and forgot to rotate them

I know of 2 that you'll like in the buggy!  Patriot (Independence trail system in Penrose CO) and Buena Vista Carnage (near BV).

The Independence trail system is near Canyon City and I believe is about an hour from Colorado Springs.  Isn't Brighton on the north end of Denver?  If so, I would say about three hours tops.

We cut our time on this .9 mile trail from 12 hours last year to 6 this year    And I finally saw my first R&P carnage on another Toyota.
