well...the trucks now 2 tone...top-olive drab, bottom-black...which i didnt like at first, prolly cuz it was dark out....but once i stood back n looked at it in light......i like it....then we went wheelin n got it all muddy.....and i got another kid comin campin...hes got a taco, spacer lift, 33 bfg mud t/a's.......

well this weekend was quite interesting....went to the mud bog...thinking its just mud,NORMAL ppl dont break shirt in mud....were definitely not normal.........heres some picy poo's

boner managed to blow his tranny, or something in the behind-motor-but-before-the-driveshaft-flange general area......and i broke my left rear axle shaft.......so yes...we have proved were defintitely BADA$$ES

the last one is big bob PASSED OUUUT in nate's car...at like 5:15 am today...loong nite

there werent any races it was an exhibition style deal. the event was to raise money for spina bifida.there were a bunch of children there checking out the trucks, and watching us in the bog and on the rti ramp. it was a blast.the only rig to make it through was a mud rail.Ialmost had it till the tranny went south.

and i broke the side gear in my dif, NOT a shaft

...which sucks...but im throwin in a welded 4cyl 3rd...for now....and i broke BOTH brake lines off the backing plates....so just gotta throw it all together, make up some lines n fill it with oil...

don't worry about the coils...i scored some for $90, and don't worry about coming to check out the progress, it has unfortunately come to a screeching halt so there isn't much to see, but deff hit me up when you get to nc maybe we can grab a brew...

Well guys, today is a sad day in history, i have been doing some thinking, and the Jeep is officially for sale. With me moving to raleigh, and going back to school full time, i need something to drive that i can count on, and something that i dont have to work on ALL the time. The 4Runner is officially for sale as well. I will be driving over 60 miles everyday of every week for al least the next year and neither of these are cutting it. I am also not going to have the time, money, or energy to go offoading, as well as work on my Jeep in the next year. I KNOW what you guys are going to say, believe me i know what yall are going to say....but this is the best decision for me, looking at the present and the future. Anyway, i will still have the other wrangler here, so whenever i get out of school i can built it, and play with it. This does not mean i am not going to come up and go camping and offroading with you guys any more, it just means ill wont be driving anything offroad, ill just be riding with people, and spotting people. I just want a car i can get in and drive everyday, and not have anything to worry about. Just thought i should let you guys know. Later

dude wtf, did laney's girl parts rub on you or what?? sell the runner keep the jeep in storage until play dates and buy an efficient car, its not like you are making payments on either.

anyway i regret selling my first jeep, and i wish i still had the part breaking ,non reliable,date ruining delight that it was.thats my opinion and im sure i speak for everyone else.im sure you put some thought into this,but it makes me sad to see the legend go.oh yeah how much? or ill trade you a stock 4.0 for yours!!!!! sounds like a bargain to me.

ill trade my 4.7 for a stock 4.0 plus a very small amount of cash...no problem at all....either way, "Wars may come and go but my soldiers stay eternal" so i look at that and think about everything i could, but didnt do to my 4.7 and can build a better one in the future, but for now i just think it is the right thing to do...either way...its not sold yet, just on the market, and well see what happens the next couple of weeks while i drive it to school 60 miles round trip each day....i dont know, offroad just doesnt excite me like it used to...i mean its fun and all, but id rather just work on everyone elses stuff, and watch and ride with someone else and have a good time, instead of not having fun b/c im constantly worried about something breaking on my own ride.

As for laney, and his jeep, he realized he was trying to do a MAJOR change in like two weeks, and that if he didnt finish, he had no way to get back to school, or anything to drive once he got back....so he put the whole thing on hold for while. In combination with that, he was having a hard time getting all the parts together to do everything, which was slowing the whole build down greatly. So for now, i believe he is going to continue to get all the parts he needs, and just have them, and continue to do more of the small stuff ahead of time in preparation to go full width, instead of doing it all at once.

sell the jeep to one of us, then after you get done with school you can buy it back. i think that would work good. but you cant just sell the heep to some random person. but i for one salute your decision to put your time into school. cause once you get done with school and get a good job you can build whatever you want, you know? and yes i got her done. haha
