the taco might never see ohiopyle again.im probaly goin to buy a 1980 yota p/u this week that im preeeety possitive wouldnt make the trip in one piece and i think thats gonna set my  :twocents: :twocents: too much to afford gas cause i figured with the gas prices its gonna be around $400 round trip for gas  ne one in NC got room for me? :dunno: does neone else think my trucks to pretty to be beating the crap out of just yet? i think its a better idea to retire it when i can get a 80 for under $800 that runs to beat up rather than my truck thats got $19000 left on it and 30k miles.my first priority will be to get it 7hour trip worthy

I think frank would agree with me, beat the hell out of it , toyotas like it, i had mine for 2 weeks before i put 32"s on it cut the fenders, and wheeled it.(destroyed the mirrors) I havent stopped since . one good thing starting with a new truck is that you arent always fixing pre existing problems, as it is already reliable.all of your time and dinero can go into the fun stuff.oh yeah the beast is alive and it is angry.

i have to agree with boner on that one toyotas like to go wheelin. i had my white white for not even an hour and i put 32's on it and started wheelin it. then it was like a sickness that you just couldn't get away from. i would just stick with the taco for now its alot more reliable and you have already put alot of time into it.  but mabye someday down the road you could get that 80 p/u 1st gens are pretty sweet. but stick with the taco for now :beerchug:

I say if it runs good and everything works go for it.  With a vehicle that is just for wheeling you won't have to worry about how you are getting to work on monday.
A bad day of wheelin' is better than a good day at work

Well, most of my time has been spent in NAPA lately, weve 6 people either fired or quit in the last 3 months so that sucks, and my other time outside there has been spent on the suburban just helping my dad do little odds and ends to it, including putting in the new transmission for it, the jeep is moving around now, and i found why i keep breaking my driveshafts, and i am hopefully going to be builing a traction bar(s) for the rear end, i have the locker back, its brand new, and i will hopefully have my new tires by then, laney isnt going to bring his jeep because its not lifted anymore, and just sitting on stock suspension with 31's so he doesnt want to bring it, so as of now itll just be the suburban and my jeep coming.....with my grandmother in the hosipital, my priorities have been in other places than my jeep lately, but whatever thats life.....but ill be there, even if i have to drive the 4runner if something happens to jeep before then.

whats up ladies, I've also been workin my butt off lol. Helped boner wire up his truck and got it started, and no I didn't use any wire nuts. And it sounds nasty  . l Put my posi 8.8 in today, seems to work pretty good. And me and boner switched tires so now im on 33's.  hmm what else, I fixed my cab, put in a new widshield blah blah blah, and scored a waggy D44 at the metal scrap yard for free  .  Apparently someone dropped of a wagoneer for scrap and I saw it sittin there. So I asked the dude to burn out the front axle and he said sure, come pick it up monday.  so that will be goin in sometime.  And I ordered a set of 4.56's for the 8.8 today. Hopefully I'll put them in friday.  Laney get ur ass in gear you puddin' head. later bitches
