That is exactly how it happened, i dropped the plasma cutter onto my transfer case, which hit the muffler bearing, and exploded the zeiterziefer extractor causeing the housing to pre-detonate

how the hell could it have hit you muffler bearing if you dropped the plasma cutter on the t-case...everybody knows that the muffler bearing in jeeps is in the header..duh and for the zeiterziefer extractor that was only on the 85-91 wranglers right? i always get it confused with the flux capacitor...

It sucks, b/c i cant be mad, b/c the stroker is doing everything i ever wanted it to, the total now of broke parts since building the 4.7 stroker,                               1 detroit locker, 2 driveshaft flanges, 1 driveshaft yoke, 4 ujoints, 2 leaf centerpins, 4 ubolts, 4 driveshaft bolts, 1 3rd and 4th gear mainshaft hub, 1 tcase oil pump, 1 tcase tail housing, 1 tcase output shaft,       this motor doing all this, and it being the first i ever built,  priceless

way to go scott!!!.....strokers will do that i guess.....didnt know u could break a leaf centerpin...but hey...leave it to the ole skeeeeeeeeterr to get er done.....ure gonna need to trailer up a trailer's worth of parts mem day....but hey pat, where the f was ure cracker a$$ fri nite???.....missed out on the head assembly and the redneck valve spring tool that had tp be adjusted 98654637 times.....boner i get yall's pics up within a day or so.....as soon as rice fixes one of his 98576957567325685 computers....and perhaps a few Mercury Grand Marquis $$flex shots$$..........and yesterday my dad's purty lil lightning got hit n run in front of our house....needs a bumper(which hes puttin a roll pan on it anyways) and a right bedside....whenever he finds out who did it, he's gonna bail em outa jail to murder them...but its all good....time fer a lil pillow time..later on ya'll

Thanks stinky, i appreciate it, soory to hear about your dads truck, that blows, and yeh its not that hard to break those damn centerpins either, thats why i "upgraded" Now i use grade 12 7/16 bolts as the centerpins, and i use 5/8" u bolts now, hehehe

A couple pics of the transfer case, If you cant tell from the pics, 2" of the drive shaft are stuck up inside the tailhousing on the output shaft.  Edit: upon further inspection, we found the output shaft spun 1/2 spline (1/16") inside the drive shaft most likely causing the destruction

nice job on the jeep scott wish i coulda been there to see it. to add to "carnage week" the willys i posted a pic of blew his tcase on sunday (D300) and his buddy with a pathfinder beater broke the balljoint on his pitman arm on his way out of the trail to go get the tow truck,then we got the willys on the flat bed,the pathfinder on the rollback dolly and the tranny was fucked up or somthing so we had to take off his rear driveshaft... and in the middle of alllll that... i found laney a D44 highpin 8lug
