ig ot my u-bolts herre at work ...$50...OUCH...but its all good 5/8" 9" long nuts washers..the whole kit-in-a-kabootle....so tomorrow she'll be on all 4s and gettin towed to my dad's shop....get finish welded n at...welder keeps throwin breakers at the house...n shes DONE ....buuuutttt not yett..................memorial day will be a niiice weekend...then i can relax n

ill trade you 1 stinky and 1/2 an ed for the tires. i suffered a minor setback thursday night. I didnt put the valve retainers in the correct notches and the springs were too tight.this caused pushrods to bend and punch through the rocker arms. on a positve note my new roller rocker and pushrods will be here today. up until this happened everything was working well. i got my new rear drive shaft yesterday. roadtest tonite aor tmoorrow a.m..cant wait.

well , i got her all together this weekend. she works great.the roller rockers helped as well as getting the valvesprings right.the stage is set for a thursday departure. the shirts are done, furry is on the stickers, and the cd is made. all thats left is everything else.

THe group from Eastern NC will most likely arrive between 5 and nine friday night, depending on traffic and what time we get out of here, got all my fabrication done, just have to weld everything completely up, the Suburban is good to go, once i get everything welded i can put the rear axle back in, the tranny and tcase back in,  bolt on the whole exhaust, bleed all my fluids, change my oil, grease everything and pack up.....3 days....hehe, i never EVER tthink i can get everything done at this point in time, once again its a race against the clock.....i want to see Boyd Coddington keep up with me for 5 days....hehe   he doesnt stand a chance compared to us, and he THINKS he has seriously important deadlines...haha....later

well...all i gotta do is finish weld the hanger, gusset it, take out a few leaves so it doesnt look like a prerunner anymore(most likely the 2 bottom leaves, that way itll sit flatter, cuz when it was on the flatbed it sat perfect n the leaves were flat, hopefully it doesnt bottom out on EVERYTHING), finish my sliders, make a Honda Helper(Temporarily), then when my parts come thurs i can bolt on the high steer, front brake lines, n wheel spacers, mount my calipers, cut my front shaft to length, get pass side tires fixed(leak on the bead again GRRR), plate frame, mount shock hoops, mount shocks, fit exhaust together and thennnnnnnn...PRAY TO GOD IT PASSES EMISSIONS and then i can leave....if i work all day tomorrow n all nite...all ill need is my parts n done....all in...72 hours...i got this shirt!!

easy for ppl to say hurry up....im a one man team...i dont have 5 or 6 ppl helpin me....but its gettin done.. i got the front of the hanger welded...i dunnno if ima pull the rad to weld the back or not...gonna try with it in first...i gotta take out the 3rd leaf on the packs n then see how it sits..if it dont change..ill have to wait to drive it to see if i need it in there so it aint like drivin a huge sponge...then the list continues.....itll be done...its in the shop..so i can work around the clock to finish her up...

well.......................its officially 2:20 A.M..........the truck is back on 4s again...i took out the 3rd leaf down n it seems to sit a bit prerunnerish still but im sweatin to death...the welder worked great for the last 2ft of weld n the bottom of the frame plating...i cant open the doors to cut all the off the hoops.....buuuutt..ill do that first thing in the A.M.....well in a few hours i guess......then get shorter shocks from mark...mount the hoops.....if my parts come before 6 then ill start assembling the beast...if not it'll have to wait till 930 at night till clas is over..she'll see the road around 10:30-11 tomorrow nite.....then pass emissions...which reminds me...i need to fix the exhaust...ill be here till 3.......fuk it im goin to sleep....

ok its 3:15...the welded 3rd is all together n spatter is cleaned out of it.....th ebumper n turn signals are on they work .....all my lights work, horn......just exhaust n 'at......ok, NOW im goin home...i wish cbg had h00kers.....i sure could use one
