solid axle swap

how are you doing everybody im new to the 4x4 family i just got my first truck a couple of weeks ago and id like to make it a decent rig. i have been talking to my cousin may be some of you guys know him eric anderson he's part of the tin benders and he suggests i do  a solid axle swap on my 1990 v6 4x4 toyota pickup its on 4'' blocks and 33'' bfg baja all terrains id like to beef every thing up eventually but id like to start off with the front axle. so if any of you guys out there can hook me up with a cheap solid front axle id appreciate it

Check the parts for sale on this board, and also check the classifieds/axles-tires-wheels on Pirate4x4.

well i found a solid axle for $350 at a junkyard near by but now i need to buy the swap kit wich is going t set me back a couple grand so i have to save my money for a while before i can do that, but i guess its one step closer to beafing my rig up, oh by the way thanks for tellin me where to look everybody

Hey, I'm a newbie, too.  I want to do the SAS to my '88 4Runner.  I've read up on a lot of websites where people have done it, and it seems like it works out pretty well.  And all the stuff that comes from the kit is tight.  Good luck with your swap, CHIP.
