As far as 20% of the people being mentally ill? I think it may be the other way around, but 90% are mentally ill. 90% of the people I encounter believe the world's population are just fine.

But, yeah, we are all forked up.

I agree....  I'm always shocked at the growing number of people in the USA that believe what they believe.... mostly a moronic uneducated, psychopathic, perverted, distorted, delusional, evil-minded hatred that is indescribable. :dunno:

Why would 35% of voters in the USA believe the Obama.Biden.Socialist.Communist.Maxist tryrannical regime is making them happy? :disturbed:

Biden admin is showing it's stupid again.

Currently, our greatest First Amendment champion has been Elon Musk. Since musk has an opinion the "White House" doesn't like, musk has been a target. Now they have Fish and Game going after the 'ol guy. Found some charred bird eggs in the rocket blast zone? Really? These pyschopaths will find any freakin' angle! The entire admin needs to be hanged! The Biden admin is a coalition of traitors.

Since when is the presidency been a postion for personal agendas? I know, every one of them does it, but this putz really goes too far.

The Constitution is a hard copy, irrelevant in today's digital landscape. Besides, nobody reads the owners manual these days either, and if they do, it's just enough to find out where the key goes. When was the last time YOU actually read the user agreement for the latest iteration of "Windows"? None of that matters to people today, not anymore. Worse part is those that are commissioned to uphold and protect that most sacred document are the ones that use it for toilet paper, just like they do the rest of the regulatory documents THEY produce.

It's really all part of a plan. Destabilize the masses and announce a necessity to replace that outdated, ancient fallacy of some inconsequential group of fogeys who's ideologies have no bearing on modern society. And voiala, the most important document ever produced becomes an historical relic to be ridiculed by the young, happy, owning nothing, no responsibility, brainless fools.

As outlined in a previous post, the plan is to take over the world.

Um, why? Are you starting to lactate? Are you a woman trapped in a mans body just BUSTing to get out?

Studies are still not conclusive on whether testerone levels decline due to plant based diets. As far as gynecomastia and diet, most issues arise from how and where the plants are grown. Soils have been so poluted with chemicals that feign some hormones, like estrogen and progesterone causing an increase in related side effects, like gynecomastia, low sex drive, loss of body hair, etc.

As far as consuming tofu being the cause of the issue? Most unlikely. If it is related to eating a certain manufacturers tofu it can likely be related to whatever preservative is used. Check the contents and compare with other makers.

What is the local water processing plant adding to your water? Been an issue in a few municipal water supplies in the past.

Contributing factors could be personal health and hormone imbalances caused by age, or a shift in diet and environment, or some illness like cancer.

Good answer, deucie!  :beerchug:

No lactation. Still happy with my hairy gonads.  No desire to trans to female ID.

Of God's gender binary - man and women - the female body is one God's most beautiful miraculous creations! :gap:

Low T is a factor at age 75.  I tend to tear up at a good dog food commercial now. :disturbed:

After 25 years of pumping iron off and on, at age 50 I had some popped out extra bulging pectoralis majors, and a slightly oversized chest measurement for my body type.

The damn things now are starting show off in a t-shirt as low riders! I need to start pumping some iron again. :smack:

But... the answer to my question is... The myth is busted! NO... soy does NOT cause gynecomastia.  Meta analysis of many studies actually indicates that a moderate amount of soy in a balanced diet may INCREASE testosterone slightly.

The chemical composition of foods now is certainly a concern.  We, as USA consumers of food, have been fed Bravo Sierra for decades. :therethere:

Most orange juice, for example, is not real orange juice taste or smell... it's ethyl butyrate. :o

I've been on an ovo-pescatarian diet for about 3 years.  I've been researching and re-thinking my diet and health management and I may go back on a vegan diet.

I am more than surprised at how ignorant and how little so many people care about their health and their body. ???

Could be that with age the skin tends to lose it's elasticity, and instead of retracting with reduced mass it tends to sag. Wearing a copper chain around the neck, in constant contact with the skin tends to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin making the skin more supple and improves elasticity. There are creams that contain copper that could help. Other topicals that can help are vitamins C, D, and E. Hyaluronic Acid treatment can help.

Of course bulking up to refill the loose skin can do it as well, buut at 75 that can be a bit more of a challenge than it was in your prime. Sorry to say, but red meat would be helpful.

Or you can just accept it as part of life.

Dad always said, "If you want more time get a bigger clock.". I now have his 42" diameter clock on my wall.

Gotcha beat on not wearing a wrist watch. Last one I had was in '87, went through 3 watches that year. Wrenching on cars takes it's toll.

It's all just a waste of effort anyway, time doesn't exist, it's just a man's concept to quantify his existence. The concepts of time and space are what keep us in this stagnant stage of intellectual evolution. We haven't advanced in over 5 decades, just improved on what was already there.

The middle east countries, some anyway, have a requirement for their young adults to join the Govenmental Agencies. I've stated my belief that we should have the same here. I know numerous younger people that have turned their lives around, from a path of being totally useless and caring for nothing, to to being focused, productive, useful people. Some people, when having poor parental quidence and being left to their own devices, tend to absorb the negative aspects of their environment. Not many make it out of adolescence with much more than a High School education and barely enough gumption to maintain a minimun-wage occupation. I would have been one of those, ARMY was a very good influence on me. I have a Daughter, Neice, and Nephew, along with grandchildren that are trapped in that bad environmental loop, that could/would benefit immensely from a forced (?) occupation. The negative aspects of our society would greatly diminish with such a program.
Of the people I know and have known that come from Israel and Syria tend to be more project oreinted and razor focused. Their focus on community and family is unequalled. For the most part they're some of the friendliest people I've come across. There are a few that from exposure to a war-torn environment have a bit of negativity about them with a touch of mistrust. Understandable.

It's a subject that would need much more than a mention in an obscure unwanted thread on a gearhead forum.

A new year? How is it new? An advance in numbers? A new year denotes advancement and improvement. The last few years have turned us back a couple of decades, in some aspects, centuries.

Happy? New? Just another string of days to count off to the next string of days to count off. Best hopes are to just survive the next year. So instead of "Happy New Year" I just say, "Best of Luck".

Just the thoughts and visions of one disillusioned crank.

7.5 quake shook Japan! What a way to start the New Year. Last couple of years earthquake activity has been more powerful than what some consider as normal, especially in the east Pacific.
We do know our faults are developing a lot of pressure, should we be concerned? Last couple of years here have had a bit of an uptic in noticeable quakes on the west coast, along with a few in not so active locations.

Then, this morning we had a south Cali shaker at M4. Hmmm.

Personally, I'm excited! To have the chance to experience the power of the planet would be absolutely phenominal!

I was in SoCal when the 1971 M6.6 hit.  I can remember it vividly.

We awakened to the shaking and the windows rattling loudly.

I had never experienced an earthquake.

Sometime after it, I remember going to "Earthquake Preparedness Class".

I remember there were 3 conditions to be prepared for:

1 - Can stay in your house or shelter.
2 - Cannot stay in your house or shelter, but can stay on your property or area.
3 - Cannot stay in the area, must evacuate.

The next time I experienced an earthquake or tremor was about 1990.  I was working on the 23rd floor of the Die Hard movie building (Fox Plaza) in downtown LA.
The building swayed and it was very noticeable, lots of people came out of their offices.  It was built on "rollers".
That same building is where Ronald Regan had his office.  I almost literally bumped into him accidently as I exited an elevator.  :disturbed:
He was flanked by two bodyguards (Secret Service?). One of them gently grabbed my shoulder and said "Careful young man." :yikes:
I looked up and there was Ronald. He made a very quick glance at me, and walked right by.
To the two guys I was with, I said "Was that.....?"  Yes it was! He has an office about 10 floors above ours."  :gap:
