Topic: Must get a stock Toy - ANY YEAR - ANY MODEL - CA Area

Hey guys

My friend is really looking for a Yota. He prefers a 2nd gen (84-89) and would like it to be mostly stock if possible. He wants a vehicle that he will use right away as a daily driver and will slowly build it into a rock crawler.

He just started his new job and needs a truck (he is currently transportation-less).

Of course he wants to get a 85 EFI but he is looking for anything for around $1,000 or less.

He is looking for a stock rig so that he can build it up and learn how to do stuff by himself.

So if you've got a rig that is running or nearly running, then let me know ASAP

He really wants to hit the trails this summer so we need something soon

I should add that we are in Fresno, CA 937xx, right in the middle of CA, and if you've got what we're looking for, then we are willing to drive +250 miles or so from here.

Mike i know a Guy who had a First Gen 4x4 It has a flat bed  has been setting at his house for about 4 years  Runs has the standard Totota Oil leak  Needs lots of cleaning  but you could  get it for about 500    Lynn        its in clovis

mike, ive got my second truck still and it hasnt been sold... 83 with 33 inch mudders and a 22re in the bed that was pulled from a good running celica...  comes with chevy springs, waggys, rears marlins style bumper and a 3 inch body lift.... im looking to get 1300 with the motor... ill make him a deal if hes interested
