Shop Rugs
« on: Sep 27, 2010, 02:14:23 PM »
So I have been looking at truck forums for along time. I keep seeing more and more, people that have rugs on their shops floors? This blows my mind, why would you have a rug under your truck? I has to be covered in grease, dirt, etc, and a pain to clean.

I get having something to stand on, but something to park on? Fill me in on this? Its kinda weirding me out.
If you see it, its for sale.

I've never heard of "shop rugs."  But I do have some left over carpet I use when the winter time rolls around, and the concrete floor is to damn cold to lay on.  Yeah it gets dirty, but that's what coveralls is for.

Shop rugs would rate right up there with track lighting...

If I had a rug where I work on mine the beach bums would steal it.

Bringing this back up. You don't have any rugs in your shop :dunno: I have 2 of them, one for the oil the truck leaks and another in case I am working on something on the floor
