Painted my MC sliders and slapped some skateboard deck tape on top to help with the traction. Did an oil change and changed my dif fluid n such. I also replaced my spark plugs but ran into more issues, i think my fuel filter it toast because when i tried to start the truck it just died 2 seconds after starting or if i try and give it gas. Cant do anything else to it tonight because everythings closed around town. hopefuly replacing the fuel filter will do the trick.

EDIT: I get a lot of questions about this so here it is: I used the skateboard deck tape because I had it laying around from my skating days. It doesn't hold up well, especially in wet weather conditions. Best advise, bedliner or something else, deck tape is a waste of money if you are actually paying for it. I only used it up because I had it.

No I had 3/4s of a tank of gas, it was really wierd because it worked fine until i changed the plugs, i know i have the right gap and everything it just dies right after i crank it over. doesnt really seem to have anything to do with the spark plugs though. i will take a look at the prefilter tomorow as well. thanks for the advise.

Fuel filter!  Luckily, the guy I bought it from at the parts house told me exactly what I would need and how to do it!  It made it easier to do!  Especially for a first time!

Tore into the ECM to make sure it all looks good and nothing was grounding out!  Still trying to start this thing!

I took the weekend to install my front diff with fresh 4.88 gears and took the time to rebuild the front steering kuckles and seals. And I don't EVER want to take apart that crap again. The smell of gear oil will make me vomit next time I smell it. Its terrible. And the hardest parts of the rebuild was trying to get the f'in tie rod to drop out. As well as putting the damn manual hub assemblies together. But I am all ready for the snow and some wheeling now. 4.88's front an rear. WooHoo!

I hope not anytime soon. It was A LOT of work to take apart and put all that crap back together. I could probably do it a lot faster if I have to next time though.

My plan was to order the knuckle rebuild set, wheelbearings and HD oil seal from Marlin.

But the ISK to $ currency exchange is not very good for me now. So I´m gonna have to find a place that sells this locally and piece the set together myself.

So I just changed the motor oil and filled up my front diff.

Just so you know, All Pro Offroad has a sale on the knuckle rebuild kits right now for $66.75. That is what I used to rebuild my steering knuckles.

Finally got my first gen running again after nearly 2 years!  Still need to do some fine tuning and finish up the exhaust, but at least I can go out, turn the key and it'll fire off!
