Suspension Cycling
« on: Feb 18, 2007, 10:23:38 PM »
How can I cycle my suspension to get measurements for shocks, bump stop lenghts, & d-shaft compression & extension.

I don't have easy access to a forklift, nor a ramp.

Is there and easy way to do this without them? If i were to make a ramp of some kind, what should it be out of, i've got some railroad ties out back .

I've got a hi-lift but can't think of a safe way to lift only one tire with it.  :help:

Thanks

if you have a cherry picker you could use that. Just wrap a chain around the tire and jack it up.

drainage ditch?  :dunno:  or (with permission)  a loading dock.  the sloped sides where the trucks back in will work in a pinch
