You must be new to ask whether to go allpoo or Marlins.  Jon (the owner of allpoo) is a jackass IMO.  He has come on this board and badmouthed Marlin and Chris (Geiger a former employee of allpoo) directly.  Plus the fact that allpoo's springs are made in Mexico and Marlins in the USA makes it a no brainer.

You are deffinately in the right place for info on that subject as there are many that have done at least one sas and several in the works.  Its not really a hard project, just rather time consuming to cut all the old ifs garbage off and grind it all smooth.  Of course if you have a snag along the way we all would be  here to answer you with advice and experience quickly.  About the only recomendation I can give you is to take your time and do it right the first time.  Doing things twice sucks!

I would have to fully agree with White Trash on this one.
If you didn't want to by a marlin SAS kit for some crazy reason..... :hammer:
Then i would suggest to make your own..

Why buy our kit over the other brands?

Here is a list of differences:

Larger/stronger 9/16" U bolts! - AP uses smaller 1/2 bolts that can and do strip out.

Heavy .250 wall tubing on tie rod and drag link! - AP uses smaller lighter .188 wall 1.125 tubing, except on Jon's truck, he runs the bigger tubing, but is too cheap to sell the larger tubing to customers.

US Made leaf springs that hold their lift better! - AP springs are made in Mexico and do not hold their lift as well as our USA made springs. THis results in loss of lift with the springs sag out.

Solid Billet steering arms!- AP arms are cast arms. The casting process leaves holes in the arm and failures have resulted.
