R&P question
« on: Nov 05, 2006, 09:27:56 AM »
my buddy is considering a yota rear axle for his jeep.  He wants to run 5.xx gears.  Except his 44 front has 5.13 gears and the yota's  only come with 5.29 gears...  Will he have to regear to 4.88 or will it work ok. I onece heard that you could be off by .1  witht he gears and you would never even know...

i think 5.29's in the rear will be fine,

he can adjust the tire pressure to make up  what little difference  there would be

you wont have a problem at all with the 529s unless you run locked in 4 low on the street
