I have seen and know that while looking from the rear and seeing || is better over / \. How about looking from the side and having the shocks leaning forward / or rearward \ Is it still best overall to see vertical shocks no matter what direction you are viewing them from?

Just a thought that popped in my head, I wont be implimenting this ant time soon.

Vertical is always most effective.
On a calculator type in the angle of the shock then hit the "COS" button and that will tell you how effective your shocks will be.
For example a shock mounted at 45 degrees will only be 70% effective.

A good rule of thumb is never more than 30 degrees. Also, your mounting bolts need to be facing the same direction. Like this ! ! not like this ! -
