OK I was gonna wait To see what other people did, but I guess not to many people do it. So heres mine.

I found a smaller size battery because there is no room under the hood. I don't remember  the numbers, but it is about 5 3/4 x 10"
and if I remember it was 550 CCA. I use it for my non-essentials, like rock lights, spot lights, stereo.........

I built a box that the battery just fit, then I cut a hole in the left fender that the box just fit. then I welded that sucker in there.
First I had to remove the ign. coil from the inner fender, then remounted it to the battery box.

heres what it looks like from the top.

I went back and forth on that, but I just didnt want to run wires that far, and my dogs ride in the bed.

A guy once showed me how he took a battery from a jump box (jump pack) that is pretty small but lots of juice. The guy put it in his dash and wired a splitter so it would charge independently. The idea seamed like it would be a good alternative to craping a full size battery under the hood.   :twocents:
I'd like to quit thinking of the present as some minor insignificant preamble to something else~~~~~
