Project "Death Trap" for sale $1700
« on: Oct 02, 2005, 11:05:44 AM »
Check out this truck I saw for sale on the side of the road in santa rosa yesterday for sale.  Its $1700 its got a spring under waggy dana 44 up front and a spring over 60 out back both look like someone was just under the cover.  Its got a 3.0 that really doesn't look bad at all and does not have water in the oil.  That sounds good but you need to see these pictures and understand that these do not give it any justice to how much of a piece of :pokinit: it is.

As you can see I has had really clean work done on a custom solid axle conversion and a custom coil suspension in the rear.

I will start the bidding at $10.  Someone should send that over to frankentaco.com.   :hammerhead:

Those front shackle mounts believe it or not look stronger in the pictures than they actually are and those square tube shock towers are cracked off on both sides.  Then for the stupid little pole thing in the bed they just rammed holes in the side of the bed for it to go into if you look close enough you can see them

Who in their right mind would buy that thing, or feel ethical selling it to some poor soul... That is rediculous.

the worst thing is that it was driven to where it was for sale and it was missing like half of the lugnuts and also it was right on the side of a highway so if someone was going to test drive it they would be going fast.

who ever owns it should sell it to a pick and pull place so someone could buy some axles out of it........thats the only thing i would take out of that POS. I love those front spring hangers, when i do my sas i might take that idea. HAHA PSYCH
