Here is a slightly better picture of the shackles working. There is a 37" tire behind that rock  :eyebrow:

I had dual shackles on my rig and didn't care for them. The axle wrap and the unloading issue is what made me get rid of them.

They are good add on to stock or lift springs in order to gain some flex. This is true. But a good set of 63"s will net you just as much flex without the side effects.

Dude I bet it does!! Mine with the 63"s and a 5" shackle flexes pretty darn good. It would be crazy with a double shackle.

i see lots of people running dual shackles for F150 and 63's springs so they don't have to move there rear hanger back.

its been a long time but i finally did my rear suspension with dual shackle. I used a 2wd single cab 88 ford f150 3 leaf spring pack. I moved the front hanger 5 inches forward and the shackle is 6 inches but I'm going to cut it to 5 inches to hopefully fix the shackle angle.
