I PASSED MY EMT CERTIFICATION TODAY!!!!!!
Now that I am a certified EMT, I will be able to patch myself up whenever I do something stupid.

Had to let it out, this is a big deal, it means I can start applying for jobs as a firefighter now.  After 144 hours of lab/lecture plus clinical time and field time, I am finally certified

its a pretty good course, at least mine was, its a good amount of work, but it is fun as well good luck :thumbs:

Congrats!!!!! Been one for about 12 years now. If you are in TLCA you can get on the med crew at events and only pay committee fees! Good discount.
Good luck on the FF. Have gone through an academy too? Are you a volunteer anywhere? It all helps.
