There we go I thought you were talking about splicing to rear axles together to make it full width or something  :o.  I say run the fj grill that looks  :smokin:, you could narrow the truck to make it fit or just leave it and make sheetmetal filler on the sides that you could put blinkers or accesory lights in.

Haha that would be a good  if it could be done. But where would you get the shafts?
I have thought about the filler panels. I think it would look pretty legit with some marker lights set in there.

Hell yeah it is. We all try to help each other out so that we are able to make all of our club's runs together.

My buddy pulled a 4.10 third and an IFS power steering box from a 91 PU that he was parting out. A few more parts closer now

Looks like I am going to get a chance at a 98 4Runner that my buddy rolled. 3.4 swap looks pretty close within my reach here

Ok so it turns out they guy wants a whole lot more than I was originally told. This is why you go right to the source before further assuming. I talked to him today and he wants somewhere around 1700 for the truck. But for the motor, trans and all the shtuff I need for swappin he would do me 800. Said that he would rather see me with it rather than some shmuck that comes along off Craigslist. Its still not bad of a price for a full 3.4 swap though. Said it ran just perfect when they got it all back on its tires and let the oil drain back into the pan. Still have yet to go and check it out though. Our schedules kind of clash so it may be a few days. Looks like I need to start saving up something fierce haha. Good thing I just got offered a job at a chemical plant making a starting wage of $18.50. Can't wait to start!!

Alright here we are. Some darn progress on this thing. It may not be much but... I can officially say I have started.
Started tear down on the front axle. Didn't get far (got a late start). But I pulled the hub assy off, pulled the rotors off the hub, and got the bearings/races out and cleaned up. Definitely not gonna try to salvage these. Bearing chips all over the grease. But it helps having a lifetime warranty of them.
Started with this:

and ended with this

I will start the rest of the tear down and start cutting brackets and cleaning it up some tomorrow after I finish doin the rotors and bearings on dad's 85.

Finally got this beast moved from my parents house and into garage. Tired of fiddle floppin' around with it. Got all the parts to start and now a place to start it in.

I am going to try to start work tomorrow after work with the rear end. Pull the whole rear apart clean it up cut the spring hangers off and start lining up the 63 Chevys

I ordered the front axle hanger the other day from low range. It will be here tomorrow hopefully. I also got the rear end pulled and sold off the skycrapper lift springs. This weekend will hopefully be for cutting the spring n shackle hangers off the rear and prepping the frame for 63 chevs

Ok so here is another update. Got a lot done this weekend. Hung the rear axle and 63 chevys, cut the IFS, burned in the front hanger, set the 93 RUF's and hung a front axle. Overall good weekend with lots of progress finally.

Hoping to start on the steering soon as I get the money to buy the materials to build the rest of my hi steer
