Im starting the build up of my 1985 4runner, because a series of events made my toy undriveable(blown axle seal, bent driveshaft) i decided to sneek in the new suspension consisting of rear f-150 springs and front toyota rear springs. I currently have both axles out and the diff out of the rear for more welding(first welds didnt hold) as soon as my shackle hanger and spring hanger come in im going to be starting on the rear, and i was wondering how much to move the spring hanger forward and how much to move the shackle hanger back for the 2wd f-150 springs?

parts pile in the garage, then the runner pretty much striped of its suspension

way bad angle without a drop hanger, bye bye old spring mounts, ford springs ready to go in same with the front drop hanger

front hanger in place which greatly improved the angle then the fords in place

when i first put it on blocks the rear tires and front tires were at least 3 inches off the ground note the front axle in the last two pics i had to dig a big hole to get it in

i got it sitting on all four tires now but the rear lost its height but i ordered an add a leaf for it today. tomorrow invovles taking the front axle back out to rebuild it then once that is done i have to put in my adjustable drag ling to get me by for now. after that it is put in extented brake lines, bleed brakes, weld more in the rear 3rd, put the front axle back in and im good to go ill have pics of it tomorrow on all fours before its goes back on blocks
