New suspension
« on: Sep 20, 2010, 02:32:52 PM »
Hey guys, I picked up some 3 inch rough country springs for my daily driver for free that are new still and I got the shocks as well. My question is what else am I gonna need to install this stuff on my runner. Please no smack talking about the cheapo springs, they were free. Will I need new shackles? U bolts? Anything else?

Dustin

umm its a 85 runner currently on 31s, but i got complete new axles from toyota with new 4.88 gears in them. I have a rough country 3 inch lift kit and new rough country shocks. Thats all I have right now. What new do I need, and what can I reuse. Its mostly a daily drive, but It does get used for hunting and beat on out on our trails on the farm.

well since you are already running leaf springs all the way around you pretty much dont need anything brand new....now if the ubolts look pretty beat up i would suggest getting new ubolts....and as for the leaf springs if the bushings and stuff are shot get new ones but other than that you should be able to pretty much re-use everything....if it looks worn replace it
