I am trying to keep my Toyota comp buggy competitive, and use as many Toyota parts as I can. I need to go to an automatic trans., but don't want to give up my 22RE. I am also looking forward to getting one of Marlin's new T-cases. None of the Toyota auto transmissions seem to fit the bill as well as a Chevy powerglide, so I reluctantly decided to go with the chevy trans. and purchased one. C&R motorsports is selling a 22RE to GM adapter. I could just cop out and put an Atlas behind the powerglide, but I'm a sucker for punishment and love Toy T-cases. I just need to figure out how. I think I would also like to clock it somehow. From my research i have found "shorty" output shafts for the GM trans. They are 32 spline. I would need to somehow adapt this to the Toy T-case, then fab some type of housing adapter. Any ideas or input on this idea?
