is that california state legal? and it says you need to buy their rocker arms too? is that true or do they just say that to make money?

Depends on how long you want your new cam to last.  They are not just saying that to make money.  Once metal parts are burnished together they need to stay together.  So the old rockers have to stay with the old cam and on the same Lobe it was on.   Any thing else is asking for problems.    

O and you could always spend the extra money at your local Toyota dealer.  thats what I did.

Let's hope the aluminum rockers I snagged from pnp mate well to my mikuni cam I just installed

i was looking at an msd off-road ignition, do u think that would make a bid diffrence? that would also come in handy cuz i wana get a rev limmiter. is there any way to get one withonut a whole new ignition?

22R's arent a extremely hi reving engine, so rev limiting isnt a big thing,   if you get the cam i suggested and get a header  you'll be happy

X2, there's really not much need for a rev limiter on a 22r.  They'll usually run out of air before they rev too high.

remember my engine a couple years ago    it was a 22block with a 20R head though 7200 ish and a valve hit the piston

Yes, but that's not a stock 22r glen    You modified it in a manner that allowed it to breath much better than a stock 22r, which allowed it to rev higher.  I guess maybe a hybrid or heavily ported 22r could use a rev limiter

very good point,  it had the 20R head that had been ported and  matched to the intake, intake had also been "opened up", plus the weber carb, and  that massive stage 2 race cam  didnt help

i miss that engine,  this one i have now will give you whiplash but it couldnt run near as fast as the old engine

yes it is, it even has the C.A.R.B. sticker

 but be advised  you will need to clearance your pistons,  so make sure you have them re balanced, and you must make sure you use the right stem seals, my first time around i had stem seal/retainer bind
  if your not up to the task  or have the coin,  get the cam i posted earlier in this thread

Best way to get more power from a 22R is to make it an RE.   I have an EB RV head, 261 cam and a Thorley header on my RE and I love it.  It's incredibly nutty in the low and mid range.  In 2WD and both cases in low, even with the stock 3.90 gears, I can do brake stands.  At idle.  On dry pavement.

i think that has more to do with gear reduction than insane power.......

No way, man... all power.  I can do 4WD donuts in high range all day.  At idle.  On ice.
