I want me a front torsion bar...(86 - up front spring).
Anybody got one laying around from an SAS or something? Will pay to have it shipped if shipping is reasonable!

Yes, I am gonna do a little experiment concerning the length of arms and a good compromise between body control and articulation...results to be published on MCB of course.

Werd...I got a place near me that has a bunch af differnt size pillow blocks for smooth mounting and operation...just gotta make arms and connectors, all depending on where I decide to m ount the bar.

I don't want one. Hell, I still have the stock one from the 84 I wrecked. CTENG is trying to homefab some imitation jeep parts

It was a pun on the lowrider custom of "layin frame" i.e. scraping your frame on the pavement. Doorskin is the outer sheetmetal panel of the door, therefore laying doorskin would be scraping the side of the door on the pavement as the truck leans over due to body roll.

Also...this has now become the largest wanted ad ever.
