I bought a truck and somebody put the timing chain on wrong with the cam gear off 180 degrees from the crank.  What should I do?

The valves are bent, pull head fix

valves are fine, fix timing chain

when you tearing into it? I'm probably going to come down to get a new rear window for my 4runner (did i tell you i shattered it?) and i'd love to tear into a motor while i'm down there!


I have all the accessories removed.  I just need to drop the oil pan and pull the front cover off now.  I haven't had much time to mess with it but this one is stuck on pretty good compared to previous front covers I have pulled.
