i would look into finding a shim headgasket, .020 is way too much to remove from a head unless your gonna be running methanol or propane
you will definitely need a adjustable cam gear and you'll need to dial in the cam timing because otherwise you'll be about half a tooth or more off on the cam timing
Sorry 79, that was a typo. The head was shaved .005 down to true it up. my bad.
