i had an '84 2wd toy truck. 22R, 4 speed, lots of fun to drive...the only thing wrong with it was that the bed was rusted to hell from being a colorado truck.
ironically i wheeled that thing more than i've played with the '79...i've spent half of the 2 years i've owned my 4x4 trying to keep it from falling apart(had no money to fix it) and now i'm slowly building it into something i can be confident that wont break on me in the middle of a trail.
wish i never sold the '84 though. i could hit fire road potholes at 50mph and catch air on all 4 wheels, drift it on dry pavement and still make it to school in the morning
